WWI M1909 .38 Holster

Original WWI brown leather holster marked Rock Island Arsenal 1909 to the reverse.  It is engraved on underside of flap with name and unit information.  I can only make out, "Co F Inf. AEF France".  Also has stampings to the outer flap, not legible.  Holster has wear and loose stitching.  Also missing bottom end with swivel.  Leather is still supple.
